What is the ONE consistent fact we can state about Jehovah's Witness teaching and Doctrine?
by Terry inuntil the scientific method came along, your guess was as good as mine.. science differed from opinion by qualifying hypothesis with testing and something called falsifiability.. what was it?.
you have to find a way to state a scientific theory by making it disprovable!.
if you have the theory "all swans are white" it is testable and disprovable how?.

Regarding the latest patient that traveled to plan her wedding, all people she interacted with must be sweating bullets right now. Where I reside, people do not even want to shake hands or hug. People are freaking out and Fox News is feeding into the frenzy. Jerks!!!

4 went off at about 9:30. the night watchman could find nothing.

Terrible story in which many are to blame.
1973 was still very dark everywhere when it came to issues of depression. Many of these such stories in all different settings.

Well, the WTBTS is wealthy at this point; and the rank and file keep replenishing said wealth. So, no worries , the money is there. However, it will not be paid without a long and drawn out fight.
It is an uncomfortable truth, but truth nonetheless.

I think I've finally been disfellowshipped
by Godsendconspirator init wasn't my preferred method of leaving but at least i'm as far as i can be from this cult.
over 2 years ago i've tried to fade out but i guess i did it too drastically.
i live in nyc so the entire territory is walkable and everybody in the congregation live pretty close by.

Why do Jw's have to pay for CO's expenses?
by nolongerconfused inthis is something that has always bothered me!.
why do rank and file have to pay for co's do's expenses, car, health insurance, meals, etc, etc...?.
didn't the apostle paul say that all christians have to be self sufficient and work?, not depending on anyone else and cause a burden?.

The clear and correct answer to that question is: Because these people are the paid clergy of our religion.
No surprise. Every religion or group has these individuals; it is necessary as these men keep us all in line with the Org's purpose.
Any CO that has left his post for whatever reason, has done a great disservice to himself. Where else will anyone find a better gig than that?! All expenses paid, new vehicle every 3 yrs, health insurance, plus plenty of cash courtesy of our faithful men worshipers.

It is of no consequence. This is just a venting site of sorts; good points will fall on deaf ears, and reasoning is non existent.
For the 'intellectuals' in their own minds, the likes of Minimus, Blondie, Terri, etc., this site is a good tool to keep them occupied as they seem to have only time in their hands with nothing better to accomplish.
So, thanks for this outlet!

My whole life in the Org I've seen quite a few mentally messed up, taking up meds that made them hallucinate, which claimed to be of the anointed kind. Yeah right!
I tend to hold suspect anyone that claims heavenly ambitions. It's just not normal, you know.
